I think I’m going to take a break from the comic for a while.  This is kind of odd since I’ve only been at it for a couple of weeks, but I have other stuff that I want to work on for now.

So a while ago, whilst bumbling around on the interwebs looking for WoW stuff, I happened across something called World of Whorecraft.  It’s basically World of Warcraft themed geek porn.  Actually, what I originally stumbled upon was an article about how the creator tried to call it Whores of Warcraft but got threatened with a lawsuit and cancellation of his account.  He was actually more worried about losing his two level-70 characters than getting sued.  Later, one of the female leads got permanently kicked from her server.  Anyway, I was intrigued and tried downloading it.

It is bad.  Really bad.

You can see the sex-less part of one episode here.  Even for porn, it’s bad.  In the first episode, you can hear the cameraman whispering, “Ok, now slap him in the face,” right before she slaps hm in the face.
And for some reason its badness distresses me.  It seems like there would be so much potential for WoW-based porn.  It also seems like I could borrow a camera from the university and come up with something better myself.

On April 1st, YouTube made all the feature videos on their home page point to a Rick Astley video.  I thought it would be funny if Google did the same thing, so I made this: Google Rickroll.  It returns actual Google results, but all of them link to Ricky.

Apparently some people don’t know what Rickrolling is.  Wikipedia has an article on it.

It would seem that I have started making a web comic.

If one believes the internet, there are tens of thousands of web comics online, and most of them are pretty bad. Hopefully this won’t be one of the worst of them. I am slightly concerned about my lack of ability to draw, but I am expecting that to improve over time. After all, some comics started out looking not very pretty in the beginning, but developed nicely over time.

And Dinosaur Comics? They’ve managed to stay pretty consistent from the start.

The comic hasn’t started yet, but this is a test post to check out the WordPress blog setup.  I had a few “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet” posts, but I want to see how an actual post looks.

This is the first time I have made my own WordPress theme.  I haven’t really checked it out in very many browsers, so if things look wonky let me know.   Actually, if anybody has any comments on the site design in general, I would be interested in hearing them.  I have been told the color palette is a bit strange, but I will admit I am rather colorblind.  I came across this image once, and I had to load it in Photoshop and adjust the levels in order to read it.

 Apparently some people find this offensive.  I suppose it depends on which definition of “fuck” you take.

Rereading what I write is always strange to me.  I seem to use a lot of compound sentences and adverbial clauses, which results in a lot of commas.
